FAME, a medical mission based in Indianapolis, is engaged in the battle to decrease the incidence of these seven most preventable illnesses. The plan is to accomplish this through assistance in community health initiatives in developing in countries and mobilizing short-term teams of American workers to provide health care and appropriate teaching.
FAME has organized an event that has gone multi-site. This event called Run for Their Lives (7 K competitive Run and Walk along with a 1 K Kids Funs Run) will take place in Liberty Township OH on October 24th and October 31st in Carmel IN. The Liberty Township OH event will start and end at Center Pointe Christian Church and the Carmel IN event will start and end at Cherry Tree Elementary School on Hazel Dell Pkwy.
