Gingerbread Houses

I made my first ever gingerbread house today. Actually we made ?55. Christina had the dough made up and we rolled and baked. Some of them are going to the disabilities ministry, some are going to an inner city mission and some are (fingers crossed) going to Ethiopia, when one of the girls visits her brother in a few weeks for Christmas. (He is a missionary there). I didn't realize I had never baked a gingerbread house before! (We didn't assemble, just baked) It was fun to have one girl (a local news reporter) tell me I looked familiar to her. We figured it out that it was from the Haiti photos our church showed during the service. I am counting that as "being interviewed by a reporter". I am wagering it will be the closest that I come. Oh wait! Kit Andrews asked me what I would like to drink at her party once! (Jim worked with her husband at UC) So I can say "I have been interviewed a few times" right? The reporter was from Channel 9 and her name was Julie she is on the right in a pink apron. Fun group of women!
