Needs for the Haiti Trip
UPDATE!: As of our meeting 8/11 our number 1 TOP Haiti needs are : Adult Ibuprofen, Adult Vitamins, and Cold/Allergy Medicines in tablet form!
Anmwee! (Creole for HELP!) We are trying to fill >2 suitcases for our upcoming medical mission trip. I am just going to list what they gave us. We would love small samples of medicines. We can't take any expired medicines. We can also take stickers, small toys,notepads,etc. I WILL PICK IT UP FROM YOU!!!!! Mesi=Thanks!
URGENTLY NEEDED: Children's Tylenol, Children's Motrin, Children's Vitamins and cough/cold medicine!
Antibiotics for skin infections: Bacitracin, Polysporin, etc.
Oral antibiotics – Capsules and suspension of Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Bactrim, Cipro, Doxycycline, Keflex, Levaquin, Flagyl, Omnicef, Septra DS, or Triethprimsulfa DS
Anti-itch: Cortisone Cream, Hydrocortisone cream, Calamine Lotion
Topical Antifungal: Clotrimazole Cream
Worm Medicine: Albendazole, Mebendazole, Vermox
Cardiac: Blood Pressure Meds
Cough/Cold/Allergy/Asthma: Inhalers, Benadryl, cough drops, decongestants, Robitussin, Tusse, Tussex
Diabetic Meds: Glipizide (or any!)
GI : Antacids, Prilosec, Rolaids, stool softeners, suppositories, Tums, Zantac
OB/GYN: Miconizole, Monostat, Clotrimazole
Eye: Murine, Visine, Sodium sulamyd (pink eye)
Ear: Acetic acid drops such as Vosol
Adult Pain Meds: Tylenol, Motrin, aspirin, Naprosyn
Scabies Treatment: Permenthrin (5%), Crotamiton, Ivermectin
Steroids: Prednisone
Vitamins: any!
