After much wailing and pleading we went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was amazing to see some of the artifacts -like Jim Morrison's note to his Mom when he was 10. U2's rejection letters, and Elvis' outfits. I pictured him so much bigger!We watched a film about the origins of rock and where it is today. It was a stark contrast to watch Madonna vehemently defend her right to perform lewd acts on stage, while watching greats like Paul Simon and Bono , with equal passion , defend the rights of others. It showed the self absorbed vs. the selfless. I'm glad we went.
